Worship has a new look now that the Bible, God and church have become commodities. From the Bible Bar to Holy bottled water, to quench your spiritual hunger and thrust, some marketers are selling religious merchandise in the hopes of spreading their faith.

MY VIEW:

Jesus is not a commodity or product to be bought, sold or traded and when i see Spiritual or religious merchandise peddled it only reminds me of the story of Jesus of Nazareth (JoN) when he found a place calling itself a "house of God" yet it was turned into a "den of thieves".

Is this the case now?

What would happen if today I came into your church and threw your books, tape sets and other religious merchandise onto the floor and began driving your paster out the door.. well, I suppose i would be arrested huh?

Jesus today cannot take such actions yet the problem remains the same. My last controversial video (other than satiring the WBC) was also a satire of the foolish merchandising of con-men inferring that one can be "greater blessed" by having whatever it is they are "pitching".

Realize I could easily come up with thousands of marketable and lucrative products and pitch them here .. yet, this I cannot ...nor shall I do because to me a faith that must profit from being a prophet ..PROFITS NO ONE except the false prophet offering the garbage and calling it "holy".

Please feel free to comment regarding your view on "religious merchandising".

BE LOVE & BE LOVED!
